Our beef

At Motz Meat, our cattle are grain-fed and finished. We have elected to give no added growth hormones or antibiotics on our farm. We do this in order to provide the most pure and clean product to our customers. We offer an environment that reduces stress to our cattle. This is done through gentle handling, a full-feed system, and fresh straw. Our full-feed system utilizes the use of corn, protein and mineralized pellets, and straw through an open buffet. This system allows our animals to not compete for their food, which can cause added stress, but it reduces the competition feeding effect that can occur on other farms. We are all about reducing stress for our animals, and we feel that stress is directly translated to tough meat, which we do not tolerate. Additionally, we provide fresh straw daily. This straw helps keep the cattle clean with dry bedding, and they love to add it to their diet, too. At Motz Meat, we strive for a healthy environment and a well-balanced diet to be offered at all times.
